Our school aims at fully entering into Europe and involve all the students in a better European knowledge so that they become and behave as the little European citizens they are.This project tends to bring together a local/national culture and a European culture as well as improving a good command of the English language (A1 level for the students) which will be required for setting up this cultural link.It also aims at developing our teaching practices and train our teachers in English for a quality education objective.Each activity related to the project will lead to exchanges and will be disseminated in English on blogs, e-twinning and Skype.A good command of English is essential. The team, as a whole, hopes to be trained and strengthen its skills in English language as well as in British culture.Moreover, we hope to develop English teaching in our classes through exchanges and through a daily and regular basis teaching thanks to activities like sport, arts, cooking, music which will bring the language into effect.We expect from this training not only a cultural contribution but also new teaching methods and tools in order to improve our way of teaching.The participants are all motivated teachers, willing to improve their knowledge and their teaching methods.They believe in Europe, in exchanges, in the decline of the stereotypes and that one can get improve learning from the differences.Therefore, they fully want to share this which they are convinced of with their students.It is with a strong will that our team made of 12 teachers go all in this ambitious project.Our students will then feel as real Europeans thanks to their linguistic and civic knowledge, to the possibilities of exchanges with other European students and to a better approach of their culture and history.The municipality and the parents are associated all along the project (meetings, supports and taking part in events) and support us in our will to enter education in a European dimension.
