Enhancing quality and developing human resources in catering and food industry

The project is a follow-up of the project titled “Implementation of HACCP standards ineducation” implemented within the first call of the Hungary-Serbia NeighbourhoodProgramme. The project is organized in such a way that it provides life-long learning,further education and acceptance of new methods for those involved in the cateringindustry in the border regions of Bacs-Kiskun and Western Backa. The frameworkconcept of the project reflects the need for an economy aiming towards EU accession,not only in the field of economy but in the fields of social and cultural events as well.Activities of the project include analysis of the current situation and the requirementsfor implementation of international standards of food safety; training and introductionof the latest standards to target groups; study tours; workshops on food quality andpurchase of the equipment necessary for project implementation.
