Enhancing Competiveness through ongoing Training and Improved Transparency

The idea of the i-Labs project is to provide a unique environment designed for creative thinking beneficial to support committees and executive teams to overcome traditional barriers. It combines physical space, creative tools and technology and requires the guidance of good facilitator. This is a new concept project aiming to develop and disseminate the use of i-Labs across Europe by establishing i-Labs in 3 countries, developing standards and qualifications for the i-Lab staff, developing broader and new applications and establishing an i-Lab Users Network. The target groups will include potential owners of i-Labs(business support and training provider organizations), potential users (large companies, SMEs, consultants and researchers) and policy makers. The expected results will be the new i-Lab Users Network, new standards and qualifications and new guidance on what makes an i-Labs. The expected impact on the target groups will be the availability of better resources; the new good practice guide will propose open learning for facilitators. The Users Network will create a community and the standards and qualifications will raise the levels of competence within the partners' countries. The project adds value by influencing both public and private sectors.
