English Teacher Training Course

The main reason to undertake this advanced training was to improve the quality of teaching competence in a foreign language. We are proud to say, this goal has been fulfilled to a high degree. We are a group of six German teachers (one man, five women) who are all teaching age-group levels 5 - 10 at Albert-Schweitzer-Mittelschule, Bayreuth. Activities which have been done so far: - internal staff training - published a report on our school´s homepage - ongoing discussions about best practice in the classroom, e.g. teaching methods, appropriate materials, internet use - monitoring of learning outcomes and sharing teaching ideas - partly use of CLIL - preparation, realisation and follow-up work of a class trip to London for age-group level 8 and 9 for 10 days
