As Ireland is also a topic in our school book we would like to develop it in the classroom.
We want to draw the students' attention to the following aspects:
- history of Ireland
- the Irish culture
- Irish tradition - folk dance/folk songs/ stories - Oscar Wilde, James Joyce
- perform a play
- St. Patrick's Day
- what is common knowledge of Ireland
Activities/ Methods:
- computer work - search for information
- role plays
- interviews
- dance lessons
We plan to work together with the music, history, geography, German and PE teacher.
