The project involves attendance of an English course at a college in the UK. Entitled "Creative Teaching", the course favoured by the applicants is designed for secondary school, college or adult education teachers and it covers teaching methods as well as specific language training. Accommodation is with a host family on a homestay basis, which might also enhance the participants' learning experience. The course is organized by a college. Travel is organized individually by the participants.There are two project participant, one who is an English teacher with 6 years work experience and one with 11 years work experience. Since it is absolutely necessary to refresh the language skills of teaching personnel regularly the course would be highly beneficial to the participants' professional development.The course will have a beneficial effect on the participants' language skills as well as on teaching skills. It is also expected to have a motivational effect. As a consequence the course will also have a positive effect on the quality of lessons. Information about new teaching methods gained on the course will be shared with the members of the English department.
