Our primary school intends to send two teachers with German as first language to an Englisch training course to UK. At our primary school we begin to teach English in year 3.The language course, the communication with the other participants, the hosts of the private accommodation, native speakers in town etc. enables improvement of the active and passive speaking competitions as well as a better knowledge about the country and the people. (e.g. private accomodation). There are good possibilities to make contact for erasmus+ school partnerships with the other international participants of the course or to hear about experiences with job shadowing. Both collegues are actively involved in our curricular Comenius/erasmus+ work. This work as well as the English lessons will be more qualified through better English language knowledge. We plan job shadowing for inclusion to enrich our curriculum "Inclusion" to a European dimension.The participation at the further training enables the enrichment of the English curriculum with the aquired competences as well as the dissemination between the school staff f.e. at conferences in teamwork. The staff will be animated to participate at English further trainings abroad as well. The awareness of teachers and students towards a Europe growing together more and more will be increased. The further training is part of longlife learning.
