The legal provisions for the vocational training of the hearing impaired (HI) has a satisfactory size in our country. However, some problems have been encountered in the implementation of regulations. That is impossible to avoid the problem from new structure of a system. We may collect our needs analysis and project execution under 3 main headings. These ones; 1-Disabled vocational education system started to be a new structure of education in our country and we have application problems (Institutional Problems): Workshop layouts, absence of different programs applied in the existing vocational training, work safety precautions, the places of vocational training be limited in schools, the relevant professional teachers did not have training in special education , the lack of the necessary rehabilitation work 2-The problems that the HI students have about digital learning (DL) , the lack of workplaces to do an internship.Their psychological, social and learning difficulties: (Individual Problems): DL difficulties (DLD) and difficulties in the software field due to these learning difficulties, the lack of workplaces for an internship, reflection of society and the family prejudices to individuals that they will fail, their internal conflicts that they had because of DLD and school dropout due to failure. 3- Needs and employment rates of experienced qualified software staff in our country and region (sectoral problems) As a result of needs analysis we collect 3 main headings at above for our students: - person with disabilities also take the place at the need for qualified personnel in software field which they deserves -can sustain their lives by working in this sector which their disabilities don't be an obstacle -to participate in the social life and active labor market -to have an opportunity for to do an internship and come over the DLD by reflecting the motto of our project named “Obstacles does not prevent the acquisition of vocation” As well as we aim to enhance the institutional capacity and regional capacity (being one of only two schools that provide such training) by transferring best practices to our institution within the scope of our institutions’ staff training for to solve the problems of persons with disabilities mentioned at article 1 . ● Predicted Results and Impacts: A.Carried out staff training : (as a result of a SWOT analysis made by Luovi) -Has transferred best practices from the institutions who has worlds’ institutional best education system. -Education and training activities has been modernized -Taken safety measures at workshop layouts for people with disabilities - Alternative studies realized for the early school dropout -Has proved barriers could not be an obstacle at learning and has increased school-family collaboration to a high level -Our staff have an observation and trained for disabled individuals about “education for disabled individuals” and “vocational training” -Has set new basic skills and ways to integrate into the curriculum in additition to traditional basic skills. B.Carried out internship Training: (mobile software training at Luovi institution -trainings will be done with European Sign Language) -Have overcome their DLD -Have found application areas that will do an internship in the field of software. -Finally they will have written a mobile application -Actively participated in social life - Learned European Sign Language as well as Turkish one. - Improved the entrepreneurial spirit -Increased employability -Gained Lifelong learning experiences that will continue on their own terms -Gained different experiences about mobile software which demands highest employment at the world. ● Target Groups Staff training 10 teachers and administrators Internship Training: 20 students + 2 Companion ● The content of frame education programs and Java & Android Apps which located in our education system is similar with our abroad partner education content and shows parallels with modular education content. Therefor the training time calculated and decided 120 hour where located under 8 main headings. ● Project duration and start date: 1 year and 1 September 2015 ● Project mobility, staff mobility between 14.03.2016-19.03.2016 and student internship between 04.04.2016-24.04.2016 in Finland ● potential benefits in the long term: -After a new perspective providing to vocational training of persons with disabilities by employee training at Luovi; the institutions' good examples have been transferred to our institution and good practice guides prepared and delivered to policy makers, NGOs and to the relevant authorities in order to be adapted project's results to our current education system and will be contributing to the formation of a new system structure. -It will create social awareness about persons with HI should take place in software industry and existing obstacles doesn’t interfere their working in this sector.
