Energy-efficient resource management – common models for small towns on the example of Kętrzyn and Svetly District (ILPR.01.01.00-28-051/10-00)

The overall objective of the project is to reduce consumption of energy resources in utilities and housing in small towns Expected Results: 1. Common model of a comprehensive system of energy saving resources in the municipal and housing buildings (informational system on Energy Efficiency), based on two concepts and programme for their implementation created, published in hard copies (2000 items) and placed on the beneficiarys website.2. Feasibility studies (16) and audits of buildings (29) developed.3. 6 training workshops conducted for more than 80 listeners.4. 4 international working group meetings organized in order to develop the joint model of a comprehensive system for saving energy resources in municipal units.5. 3 international meetings of the Management Committee organized.6. 2 conferences organized.7. 2 pilot investment projects (renovation of kindergarten # 9 in the Svetly District, replacement of 200 windows in the Middle School No. 2 in Ketrzyn) launched.8. 1 film created and 2000 leaflets and 2000 brochures about the project published.9. 2 web links created to the existing web pages of the project partners, minimum 30 media ads placed.
