Energy and resource efficiency in integrated juice and ingredient production (BERRY)

The aim of the project is to combine berry industry processes into an energy and resource efficient integrated process, optimizing the quality, and generating simultaneously juices, juice concentrates, berry skins and seeds and other mechanically derived ingredients. The long-term objective is to raise all the industry's competitiveness and refinement level in the global marketplace and enable the development of new products. Short-term project designed to raise commodity prices - and energy efficiency in the red fruit sector within the means of further developing the processes and energy optimization.
