ENEMAN: Development, Testing & Dissemination of an ENErgy MANagement Training Package for SME Managers

The ENEMA project aims at the development, testing and dissemination of an Energy Management self-training package targeted at SME managers and training practitioners. The overall objective of the project is that of enabling these target groups to cope with technological change and with new international requirements on safety and the environment. The key output of the project will be an interactive training package (web-based & CD-Rom) comprising both theoretical learning (Energy & the Environment; Energy Management; Energy Conservation; Economics & Finances) as well as a training section on the use of ICT. The eventual training package will be released in five partner languages (EN, BG, CZ, PL & RO). Dissemination will be an ongoing process throughout the project lifetime and will actively involve representatives of the target audience. Dissemination activities will include the periodic release of an e-newsletter (for circulation across each of the participating countries), the production of an outline leaflet illustrating the characteristics of the training package, attendance at related conferences & seminars and active use of the dedicated project website. The end project beneficiaries include SME managers, local authorities and regulatory bodies, architects, builders and related training professionals.
