Having identified a major methodological gap in the support of would-be entrepreneurs within the EU, the project intends to achieve the following objectives: to identify the ideal CV of the new European Tutor specialized in the creation of enterprises, and to define a common training path for the certification of professional tutors. Indeed, a better assistance to potential businessmen is expected to boost the establishment of new companies and decrease the mortality ratio of newly created SMEs, thus contributing to improving European competitiveness. Target groups of the project will be: 1) training organizations and trainers of trainers (in the short run): thanks to the research undertaken within the project and to its innovative approach, these will be put in the position to train and certify a new kind of European Tutor; 2) would-be entrepreneurs (in the long run): people willing to establish a new company or to become self-employed need indeed a specific support in order to avoid mistakes which could undermine their business project.The expected results include a comparative analysis, the ideal profile of the specialised European Tutors, didactic material and course structure, a "European training path", seminars and workshops, as well as a website accompanying the process on all stages.
