Within the framework of the project, a Renewable Energy Centre was established in Mórahalom, operating as an alternative energy demonstration site. In addition, a heating and hot water generation system based on thermal energy was created in Makó Sub-region as well as the integration of solar panels and a heat pump was completed from the support. The bilateral exchange of experiences in the use of alternative energy enhances the flow and exchange of professional information in the border region, while the acquired knowledge is also an incentive for more cost effective operation.
