Search for European Projects

Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Progress in education depends not only on reforms that are made to the school system, but also to a large extent on social an cultural changes that are launched. The project we are presenting, "En CLAVE de SOL por EUROPA - In SOL´CLEF of EUROPE" (Musical terminology), fits within the European Erasmus+ Programme, in the section "key action 1", related to mobility of teachers for a period of observation (job shadowing). It has a duration of 12 months (2016-2017), and aims to modernize and open up the institutions involved: Conservatorio de Música de Murcia (Spain) and Finnish Music Institute of Lappeenranta (Finland). For this end, a group of four teachers from Spain and seven from Finland, filled with the European spirit and the priorities of the Europe 2020 Strategy, as well as a desire to reach beyond our borders in musical artistic training, strive to invigorate the exchange of ideas and new methods in the daily activities of our pupils, and if possible, to attract higlhly qualified students and teachers to our region from all over Europe.Amongst the activities that are scheduled, it is worth mentioning those related to European development, management, intercultural communication, linguistics, training courses, encounters, concerts, conferences and cultural visits in each of the countries involved. In order to make effective progress in this project, we will use a methodology based on the previously established phases (before, during and after), which will serve as a guide, evaluation and reflection throughout the process. The results obtained will include innovative music training techniques, to be incorporated into the music education system in the European Union. We will extend their influence by means of the platform eTwinning, founding at least one project in collaboration with the participating institutions and others interested in joining. The impact of the project will be measured by the quality of the results as well as by the degree to which they are transmitted beyond the association. For this, we will prepare a plan for spreading information about the project and for taking advantage of the results, using various local, regional, national and European platforms, in order to raise awareness, amplify the social impact, share musical knowledge and develop new international associations (KA2) for the future.
