Empowering young Women in entrepreneurship and Affairs

The E.W.A. project, which lasted six months was organized as the proposal submitted and approved in three stages. The first phase that Preparatory involving all partners in the selection of 35 young people who participated in the exchange. According to the criteria previously agreed during project preparation, the participants were chosen on the basis of their motivation favoring those who have recently started a business or declare you want to open. After the selections each partner provided the training of the participants who were invited to make a entrepreneurship research in their country (difficult to start a business, cases of domestic success, situations to improve and to work) and a power point presentation on the respective regions' economic and social contexts. The second phase of the project, consisting in the real exchange, it is instead made from 5 to 11 May. Upon arrival the partecipants were brought to know the main structures dedicated to the activities and the city so that it could immediately feel comfortable in their new environment. As concerne activities the boys identified themselves into entrepreneurs thanks to the canvas games and other activities of non-formal learning (interviews, pitching speed), which enabled them to face different situations like example to convince lenders to invest in their own businesses. They were also involved in a kind of hunt treasure in the city of Viterbo where they went equipped with map looking for some companies reported. Has been required them to observe these businesses, interview the owners and try to find out the strengths and weaknesses required them to observe these businesses, interview the owners and try to find out the strengths and weaknesses of these activities. The boys were also invited to propose innovative ideas to entrepreneurs. All activities took place in the incubator ICult Faul Valley. The cooperation with the incubator, not foreseen in the design phase, it was important for the project. It was a place that has contributed to the maturity new ideas as well as to deepen the role of support that actually like incubators can provide a young entrepreneur. The third phase of the evaluation and dissemination of the project began at the same time the exchange and continued during the following months.
