Embrace Nature Through Entrepreneurship
Start date: Aug 1, 2016,
End date: May 31, 2017
Embrace Nature Through Entrepreneurship is a Youth Exchange which aims to increase youth’s level of consciousness, aged from 18 to 25, on the topic of Environmental Stewardship and Social Entrepreneurship. We decided to combine these two fields in order to ensure that the information, the abilities and the attitudes that the youngsters acquire in the 9 days of the project, will be applied by creating and implementing new projects and social businesses that they will construct, with the help of our experts, during the youth exchange. The participants will create feasible and sustainable ideas of social entrepreneurship, meant to help and protect the environment and which will first aim to have a local impact, in their communities, which will develop later into a national and even international one, with the help of the network of partners and stakeholders that they created on the project. ENTE is the product of a harmonious and efficient collaboration between the 7 partners from Romania (2 partners), Bulgaria, Poland, Greece, France and Estonia. The Youth Exchange will host 30 participants for 9 days and it has the following objectives:1. To increase the level of awareness of youth aged from 18 to 25, from 6 European countries (Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, France and Estonia) in 10 months, regarding environmental problems. 2. To share knowledge and good practices in the field of social entrepreneurship and applying them to create a social business idea. 3. To develop international and intercultural cooperation between the project’s partner countries in the Erasmus+ framework through the exchange of good practices in the domain of social entrepreneurship and environment protection. Therefore, Embrace Nature Through Entrepreneurship aims to increase the level of awareness regarding environmental problems and to develop new knowledge, attitudes, abilities and good practices in the field of social entrepreneurship, as well as to promote and encourage transnational cooperation for the implementation of future projects.
