ELQ-SME’s – E-learning quality for SME’s: guidance and counselling

The general aim of ELQ-SME’s project is to improve the quality of e-learning in order to enhance vocational training in SME’s from the trade and service sector. This objective will be pursued by facilitating access to on line resources and training services and by promoting the use of multimedia technologies and a guidance and counselling approach. The project also aims at defining new products to overcome the existing gap in measuring the quality of e-learning. It will therefore use evaluation approaches developed in another Leonardo da Vinci Pilot project ROI – Return on Investment in Training in order to develop methodology approaches tailored to e-learning context. Main results expected from the project are represented by State of Art Report on ODL quality for SME’s; criteria for evaluating Quality in e-learning; guide for training consultants; training profile for trainers and consultant; guide to conceive and evaluate e-learning courses. Firstly dissemination activities will be addressed to target groups directly involved within the project. Secondarily it will disseminate the results and products to vocational training centres, training entities and social partners. Target groups of the project are Managers, owners, entrepreneur and other decision makers from SME’s; as also training consultant, vocational training centres.
