EL VIAJE COMO ELEMENTO DE COHESIÓN EUROPEA

We begin our Project with its name “Trip as the Europe´s Origin”.
This trip will be focus on the Humanistic Knowledge, because we think it will be a really important value in our century.
Humanities have two really important functions in education: the first one, it help us to assume our cultural inheritance and to respond to the times. On the other hand, humanities have let to understand the economic, politic and social life style of European Nations, beside they have helped to consolidate all democratic systems.
The project´s goals have been thought to be according to the European Strategies of 2020.
So, our main goals are:
a) Goals related to Education:
- To stimulate, increase and improve the learning process.
- To develop the linguistic competence.
- To teach with an intercultural view.
- To develop the cultural and artistic competence.
- To develop the social and citizen competence.
b) Goals related to investigation and innovation:
- To promote the innovate education development.
- To improve the relationship between education centers.
- To look for new qualifications and jobs in Humanities associated to “third sector”.
c) Goals related to digital society:
- Processing of information and digital competence.
The participant partners are four: Spain, Italy, Greece and France. All of them are high schools, with Secondary and Bachillerato studies. The Spanish center has two European Sections, one in english and the other one in italian. The French high school has one European Section in Spanish. The italian center is specialized in Classic Studies and Spanish language can be studied as Foreign Language.
Activities are related to the following knowledge areas: Art, History, Language and Literature, Latin and Greek. All of them are developed using Technologies of Information and Communication.
The methodology applied in this project is based on identification and definition of common objectives that must be accomplished throughout the project.
Statistics and surveys, among others, will be applied in order to check the achievement of the objectives, joined to a comparative evaluation of the results obtained by all partners, making an exchange of solutions to improve our praxis. Activities have been planned in a framework of flexibility and ease, adapted to the partners´ profile and the work responds to the methodology of
The results we hope to obtain with this project are the following: Student’s appreciation of Classic Culture and artistic creation as an European referring.
To strengthen the multilingual learning.
To concern people about job opportunities in the field of Human Science.
To get european citizens used to Technologies of Information and communication.
We seek the incidence, on the one hand, on the students, families and schools taking part in the project as they are, at the same time, participants and targets of the project. They are the actors directly involved in the performance itself: Students, because it will increase their language skills joined with their intercultural training, will increase their digital literacy and everything learned in this
project will help them in their education both socially and in terms of citizenship. Concerning families, a key element in the development of the host activities of students from other countries in their homes, the project will be a time of learning, collaboration and adaptation to new environments.
In schools. As in the various stages of the project will be organizers, coordinators and recipients of the products, and, also, the application of the open method of coordination will help identify concerns, transnational shared objectives within our field of study and all will result in the search for solutions that will have an international scope.
In addition, this project will also impact the other actors involved in it, because of its involvement in both its organization as in the activities listed above. These platforms are receptive to this type of project because they have a feedback function.
Once this school partnership ends, the skills acquired related to innovation, research and education, will constitute essential elements within the knowledge triangle. Also essential for the students, will allow them to advance in the knowledge economy by providing education and training for their future.
This trip will allow them to be prepared for mobility within the university training phase. However, some may start to benefit from this Single Trip project, which includes the possibility of stays for studies in other centers participating in the project. This would broaden their knowledge of other education systems in the European context and help to strengthen the multilingual skills without forgetting their intercultural education.
