CEA San Ildefonso – La Granja is a public Adult Education school within Junta de Castilla y León Education Administration. The School staff of four travelling teachers, 75% permanent staff , has its headquartes and facilities in Real Sitio de San Ildefonso. In the current school year enrollment includes 232 students divided into different groups in the following locations: Real Sitio de San Ildefonso, Palazuelos de Eresma , San Cristóbal de Segovia, Prádena , Matabuena, Palazuelos de Eresma and Torrecaballeros. The School staff has extensive experience in European projects and in this school year 14/15 is implementing its European Development Plan and working on a KA 2 application. All the staff takes active part in this CEA European Development Plan with full support from the School management, the School Faculty and the School Board. This project is the devised answer to the detected needs in the institution and its aim is to improve its quality and internationalization. All the teachers at the institution have worked in coordination for this application and have used different tools such as the e-twinning platform. The teachers that will take part in the training mobilities comprised in the project will be also the coordinators of the working groups in the Internal and external Training Programmes througout school years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 with active involment of the mentioned management bodies. It will foster the competencies of those teachers, the students and other teachers from different institutions. The training courses of the Project and their objectives are the following: • Integrating Technology -Based Learning Approaches into Constructivist Classrooms. ( Antalya / Turkey). The overall objective is to deepen the constructivist learning approach that characterizes the School, continuing the increasing integration of the effective use of ICT in it, through the debate on the most effective ways of integration in the classrooms of the constructivist learning approach, their potentialities and the effective use of ICT. • Effective Use of Tablets in the Classroom . ( Antalya / Turkey). The main objective is to acquire the skills and abilities requiered by teachers to practice with and effectively integrate tablets and mobile -learning in the teaching and learning processes. • Soft Skills for Education Providers. ( Prague / Czech Republic). The overall objective of this mobility is to improve the operativity of our Institution as an organization and to reinforce the European dimension. Improve internal and external communication processes, to improve and increase cooperation between the European institutions involved in the Adults Education field in Europe and to exchange experiences and good practices among European teachers . The long term impact of the project will increase the quality of teachers, education programmes and courses and the school management. This increase in quality of education will be reflected in the cooperation projects both within the KA2 with other European centers and it will strengthen the capacity and commitment of the Institution to develop a more ambitious two-year project leading a consortium for Adult Education in our province in year 2017 KA1 call . The impact for the project will go beyond the applicant school, extending to local, provincial , regional , national and European levels.
