Search for European Projects

"Egyedül nem megy!"
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The goal of the application is to make use of the benefits of ERASMUS+ in a conscientious way in order that the relating elements of the development plan of the Fényi Gyula Jezsuita Gimnázium and Kollégium could be carried out. We are planning to continue and to extend the work of international projects that are already operating in our school by providing our teachers with the opportunity self-development, trainings and job-shadowing so that they can work in a more efficient way and can meet the requirements of today’s education at a higher level. One of the possibilities to realise these aims is to launch further international projects as we firmly believe that these projects make possible that our students can experience what it means to collaborate with students from different countries to achieve a common goal together. Consequently, we; students and teachers together can build the future of Europe. In addition, students can learn tolerance and respect in these meetings. To fulfil these targets teachers need discussion about future projects and job-shadowing. By the means of the trainings selected according to the aims elaborated in the application teachers can broaden their way of thinking, can gain first-hand experience of European education thus they can authentically motivate their students to evaluate differences of cultures and can educate the future citizens of Europe. As a result of job-shadowing teachers can get to know what inclusive education means in the multicultural settings of European countries and coming back they will be able to apply their gained knowledge and disseminate what they have learned. They can teach students with disadvantaged background coming from small regions more efficiently. As a result of the trainings or job-shadowing teachers can do effective talent development by taking the aspects of educating the full person into consideration. They can really teach holistically by applying the elements of global education. The job-shadowing and the methodological trainings are all keys to broaden the topics of the workshop organised for the colleagues of small region schools. The expected outcome of the trainings and the job-shadowing is to organise workshops more frequently and our teachers can provide help on the spot so they can visit teachers in their own school and there organise mini-trainings without any charge. It is required of the participants of the trainings and job-shadowing to extend the treasure of their methodological ideas and to learn what sensitization implies in practice. Participant teachers also need to improve their competence of coordination and organisation and develop their subject content knowledge. Finally, participants are expected to become aware of the values of European Union
