The project „Adult education as a tool of social inclusion” will be implemented by four partner organizations. The lead applicant is Municipal Social Welfare Center from Gdynia (Poland) and the order partners are: The Solidarity „PLUS” Association form Poland, Kofoed's School from Denmark and MVO PROXIMA* from Slovakia. All these organizations work in area of support people affected by social exclusion. The activities of the project will be used by partner organizations and their employees. People from disadvantaged groups will not participate directly in the project activities because of their life situation (addiction, staying in closed-door centers, etc.), but at the same time they will benefit from the project results and objectives which the partnership has set itself: 1. Creating a network of cooperation and exchange of experience between the partners.2. Improving the quality of assistance provided by the partner organizations.In the project will take part: under the international meetings – 12 persons, under the seminars – 24 persons and under the job shadowing – 18 persons. The participants of the first activity will be people directly involved in the project, its implementation and be responsible for obtaining the expected results and objectives of the project. In the other activities will take part staff members from partner organizations, selected by the recruitment.The project activities are structured and consistent, complement each other. The international meetings of monitoring and implementing group are the core of the project, determine the specific courses of activities, and allow to respond up-to-date to emerging situations. The main part of the project – seminars and job shadowing lead directly to achieving the objectives. Increasing the competence of staff is crucial for the final recipients of the assistance, i.e. people from excluded groups, and also for individual partners and for the whole partnership. We all make gains, which at the end of the project will be recognized and presented in the form of website, publication, film and conference.The activities are based on the classic tools of non-formal education such as activating methods, i.e. : discussion workshops, participating observation, learning through experience, work in groups, etc. Will be used also teaching methods such as presentations, mini-lectures, etc.The immediate results of the Partnership will be:– 6 international meetings of partners (monitoring and implementing group),– 3 seminars for staff members, – 2 visits under the job shadowing for Partner,– 1 conference for the dissemination,– 1 film from the implementation of the project,– 300 pieces of publication on the results of the project.Moreover, will be achieved another results such as:– enhancing the quality of support offered by the partners for disadvantaged groups by raising the skills of staff members resulting from the experience acquired during the various forms of non-formal education. It will be communication and adaptation skills,– enhancing the prestige of the partner organizations in relation to increasing the emancipation skills of the staff,– improving skills of staff members on. maintaining competence of support recipients – maintenance of change,– developing a network of cooperation between partner organizations. At the end of the project partners will be maintain cooperative sharing experiences with the held of the project results (the quality of solutions in each country, the dynamic of change, which is particularly important from the point of view of the three-level assistance, where the lowest level is in Slovakia, the average in Poland and the highest in Denmark). Partners will also be for themselves the potential for further actions,– exchange of experiences. The experiences will be presented at meetings of the monitoring and implementing group and will rely on the presentation of reports from seminars and job shadowing. From the perspective of the people involved in these forms of support exchange of experience will take place after each activity (if the program includes a summary meeting).As a result, the long-term benefits from implementing project are:– increase of the professionalism of staff members,– increase of the capacity and prestige of the institution/organization,– growth of workers mobility,– increase of the quality of the assistance offer.
