Educational Evaluation for Youth Work

The Training course "Educational Evaluation for youth work" will gather 20 participants from 5 organizations to provide them with tools and competencies to plan, conduct and interpret qualitative educational evaluation. Youth workers from the project promoters in Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania and United Kingdom are expected to use evaluation techniques in order to make sure that the objectives they set are realistic, achievable and serve the needs of the young people involved, keeping in mind the community context in which their educational activities take place.The project is directly linked with the objective to to contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organizations in the youth field. It will develop competencies of youth workers and project promoters to conduct relevant evaluation and to feedback it to the Local, National and European institutions which support quality of policy making for youth. Successful evaluation will contribute as well to a more inclusive youth development and growth in youth work, making sure everyone is involved. These competencies will support quality exchange of information leading to promotion of European cooperation in the youth field.The training will happen in Pelince, Macedonia in June 2012.
