The financial obstacles of young people with few opportunities are the first start of other problems and needs that in time get worsen and create a negative impact especially from the point of view of their professional, personal and social development. In the same time, the Roma young people's problem in Prahova County, especially in Ploiești city and the villages around is well known, but there isn’t an efficient local youth policy, especially at schools level, for the inclusion of this young people in educational programmes. The schools doesn’t offer social inclusion services for the young people with fewer opportunities, especially for the Roma young people, fact that gets to school dropout among them. Also, the teachers in general, but mostly the rural areas teachers don’t have enough knowledge and skills regarding social inclusion methods. The School Inspectorate and the local authorities are poorly involved in developing social inclusion programmes for this young people. This why, through this project we want: - To promote the inclusive education in schools. - To involve the decision makers and nongovernmental organization from Prahova County in developing a strategy for the promotion and implementation of inclusive activities for the young people with fewer in general (and for Roma young people particularly) in the community’s democratic life. - To develop the inclusion opportunities for 145 young people with fewer opportunities from Prahova County. - To promote the European citizenship among young people. - To develop specialists in inclusive education field among teachers and youth workers from Prahova County. The project facilitates the dialogue between young people and decision makers, bringing together in its activities more than 280 young people, of which 145 with fewer opportunities. The activities include: A Promotion campaign in 5 schools from Prahova County; A World Cafe activity that aims to identify pertinent solutions for the young people with fewer opportunities problems and needs from Prahova County A Constitutive meeting of a network responsible for the implementation of the Strategy for the promotion and implementation of inclusive education in schools from Prahova. A Youth Seminary where we will develop the Strategy for the promotion and implementation of inclusive education in schools from Prahova. Public debates on the Strategy for the promotion and implementation of inclusive education in schools from Prahova developed during the Youth Seminary. The methodology used for the implementation of the activities is based on nonformal education, being used a big number of nonformal education methods: Open Space Technology, World Cafe, Photo Animation, Videovoice, Photovoice, Socio Educative Animation, Debate, Evaluation methods and other creative learning methods. The project results include: the inclusion of 145 young people with fewer opportunities in the project's activities, personal, professional and social development of the young people involved in the project, pertinent solutions for the young people with fewer opportunities problems and needs, the promotion of the inclusive education, European citizenship and active participation of young people in decision making process; A sustainable partnership with public authorities; The visibility materials of the project, including flyers, brochures, website, etc.; The Strategy for the promotion and implementation of inclusive education in schools from Prahova and a network responsible for its implementation; Anti discrimination and pro social inclusion promotion materials (short movies, photos, posters, etc.); A best practice guide and a DVD with all the results of the project.
