Start date: Apr 1, 2015, End date: Oct 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project has been developed mainly Zaragoza city, in different areas where our company makes interventions with children and youth. In addition, participants were also able to meet our work with youth in rural areas, as they have participated in rural districts of the city environment, always accompanied by our responsible employees. Our volunteers were contacted with children and young people, to see how we works Education in Leisure with these groups, in different contexts and developing different kinds of activities; knowing all the intervention process, from planning and building activity to its final evaluation. Our goal was give the opportunity to learn firsthand how the work with children and youth develops from leisure education, so this experience could provide them with new tools and knowledge to implement their curriculum, allowing improved their employment future. The actions and activities where our volunteers participated have been several, although the greatest weight in this project was direct intervention with children and youth, these activities have been implemented with others that would allow voluntary development and improving different skills. Volunteers were developed a weekly blog where told their experience; responded questions or suggestions about these programme from young who ask in where website; they made an EVS and Erasmus+ presentation from personal experience and showed with different young groups; they done a dossier with new and creative activities very useful for themselves and for all staff dedicated to developing tools such interventions ... So, with this project we have worked guided by the goals we scored in our project, complying as far as possible the guidelines and objectives we set in it. We have provided skills facilitating their subsequent employment venture. This objective has been pleasantly fulfilled even beyond expectations we set because Mihaela, one of the volunteers currently working in a museum, will propose thanks to this experience lived, creating a space for entertainment children who come to the museum with activities and games related to the exhibits. Despite the major differences in the way to treat this work scope in both countries, we detected voluntary interest woke up in this area, discovering new opportunities and tools for working with children beyond education formal. The overall assessment of the volunteers development in this project is very positive, not only for our assessment of their development with us, but also for themselves, as we have seen in the evaluations that have been conducted with them. As they themselves have shown in their final evaluation and session creation of the "time bank", this project has enabled them to learn innovative and interesting methods of intervention with children and young people, and a great enrichment in knowledge and intervention experiences from this kind of education, as there is conveyed themselves this kind of education as found in Spain to Romania. The conclusion of this project has been really positive, both for our organization and for the volunteers, a fact that has motivated us to present this project in next call, improving it based on the experience, offering the opportunity to work with new European voluntary.
