ECVET – SUAUGUSIŲJŲ (TĘSTINIAM) PROFESINIAM MOKYMUI

One of the key strategic aims of Lithuanian Association of Centres for Continuous Training (TEMCA) is to enhance international cooperation of Countinous Training institutions and to promote student and staff mobility for learning and practice purposes in European countries. For this reason it is very important to understand and to apply correctly European tools for mobility in VET, first off all ECVET. ECVET helps to improved international mobility, recognition of learning outcomes, to improve quality in VET and provides a framework for the assessment, validation and recognition of learning outcomes. The implementation of ECVET into Lithuanian continuing vocational training system will help to increase mobility opportunities for VET learners, possibilities to learn and to have professional practice abroad, it will also facilitate recognition of learning achievement and increase satisfaction from vocational training in general. In addition it helps to establish trustworthy cooperation between partner organisation. Main objective of TEMCA - ECVET project is to deepen the understanding about ECVET principles and tools and t how ECVET can be applied in Countinous VET for better quality of training, better correspondence of needs of the learners and making life long learning a reality. Objectives of the project rise from the strategic development goals of Continous VET providers, from which the improvement of training quality and creating better opportunities for learners are the most important. Project TEMCA – ECVET aims to train staff from Continous Training Centers in five partner institutions: Luua Metsanduskool (Estonia)ESMOVIA (Sistema Practices s.l.) (Spain)OMNIA (Finland)JUMP - GIOVENTU' IN RISALTO (Italy) Fundación Equipo Humano (Spain).Objectives for a staff training in partner organisations are: -to deepen the understanding of the ECVET system and its application in Lithuanian countinous VET training system;- to develop skills of continous training providers to apply ECVET (organisation of student mobility, setting of appropriate learning outcomes, implementation and adaptation of training programs);- to develop skills of VET teachers to use ECVET (addapt training methods, review training programmes, evaluation of competencies and recognition of learning achievement). Project will also help to create ECVET partnerships in continuing vocational training with European countries having experience in using ECVET for training and practice mobility.The project will significantly improve the association members understanding of ECVET system, will form the preconditions to use use uniform approach towards ECVET concepts and tools in Countinous VET.
