The ECVET for Graphic-Media project aims at the development of the approach of a system of recognition and transfer of learning outcomes in VET or parts of VET in at least the participating countries. In future or further projects the aim is to apply the ECVET approach in all member countries of the European Graphic Media Network (EGIN)(www.egin.nl). The credit system and the approach how to apply and implement it, will broadly support the mobility of workers and students throughout the EU.The EGIN foundation consists of the social partners from The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and The United Kingdom and Sweden; members are located in the same countries and Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Ireland Russia and Latvia.Quite a number of the EGIN members are involved in this project, social partners and educational (VET) institutions. In a series of three workshops the project will produce the approach to a credit system for at least one profession, that of the printer. Furthermore an approach to setting up and implying the credit system will be developed.
