Ecological World - Original Creative Attractive

The project EWOCA was for young people from the three countries. People were meeting under the theme - responsible, healthy, natural, attractive use. The project took place in Telšiai area in Learning threw experience center in Džiuginėnai (vilage area - 4 km from Telšiai town) . The project involved young people from 14 to 21 years old, 24 participants - 8 from each country - Germany, Spain and Lithuania . Gender ratio was nearly equal - 11 boys and 13 girls. 15 days young people from different cultures have spent together. The project aim was to help young people understand that the whole world going threw accelerating processes, excessive consumption, distraction of nature, people thinking only about their own needs and it leads to self-destruction. However, if each person would start openmindley work with ourselves, we can slow down these processes .Exchange was worked in three groups: creative workshops, cooking and media. Everyone had the chance to test himself in all three groups. Creative workshop for young people created an attractive, natural space for themselves, where they enjoying time basicly all of the meeting. Later, this space will be used by other young people and the local community. Youngsters has been working with wood, stone and natural fabrics: a fireplace of stone, wooden chairs made for sitting outside near the fire, batik technique painted and sewn curtains.Cooking group fed all the participants entire exchange time. There was produced healthy food in outdoor kitchen. They had to prepare firewood fueled furnace. Big part of vegetables and fruit participants were bringing from the garden themselves, had to clean it and prepare for cooking. Journalists - Media Group all the time were following the events, daily life of exchange and informed exchange visitors and the local community, led daily newssheet, announced the news in the Internet space, and interacted with the local and german journalists. Articles were published in the press. There was also a preparation of booklet that was released as an additional tool for dissemination of project results . For intercultural understanding among youth, there were organized national evenings. Young people were presenting their country, treated each other with traditional home made food. Bike hike and survival in the wild nature was quite a challenge for young people. During the two days of cycling, there were 100 kilometres traveled and visited the Kuršių Nerija. For those who don‘t have much cycling experience, the hike was space to find out thing about themselves. Time in Lithuanian nature, active resting after what everyone was proud about themselves.Survival in the wild (two days ) was based on teamwork and consultation of group. This led to further getting to know each other and understand that only a team can help to tackle the resulting challenges. Direct encounter with nature for young people was new. It was more challenge than the rest and enjoyment . It shows how we all start feeling a seperation from nature and naturalness.After the exchange was laid out brochure "Ewoca adventure guide“ and the promotion of the project. The brochures and interactive exercise Lithuanian group of youth went with the promotion of project and brochures to other youth centers and made a presentation in Telšiai youth centre too. For spanish and German groups there were sent brochures so that they can deliver the aims and experience the project in their countries. The main methods for work with a group and the subject: intercultural learning, learning from experience, teamwork, group reflection, individual consultation, simulations.
