Ecological Diversity in Agriculture

Natura 2000, European network of sites, by the flora and fauna exceptional which they shelter, is variously operated in the European countries. The appropriation of the stakes which it is not obvious with the agricultural populations, the implementation of the device is often lived as binding and technocratic what does not facilitate its understanding by the farmers, moreover little associated to expensive and very technical diagnoses. This report is widely shared on both territories of the Delta of the Danube and the Guadalquivir on which is going to take place the Ecodiag project. In France, Supagro Florac, the natural academy of the spaces of Languedoc-Roussillon and Solagro demonstrated that the device of training plays a fundamental role in the support of the implementation of contracting policies on a territory. Whether it is by its capacity of expertise or through the raising sensitization of the learners, the qualification of the technicians or the in-service training of the teachers, the farmers and the administrators of natural spaces, it has a mission of introduction of the innovation which facilitates the dialogue between the actors, and thus of the decision-makingThese three structures developed a set of complementary tools of diagnosis and decision-making support to facilitate the contractualization of Measures Agro-Environnementales by the farmers. These three diagnoses, based on simple and easily accessible criteria and concerning agro-écologioques infrastructures for the first one, impact of the modes of exploitation on the environment for the second, and on the state of the biodiversity on the plots of land cultivated for the third, allow to have a global vision of the state of the biodiversity on the exploitation, by associating it the farmer; what also facilitates to the technician or to the territorial organizer the implementation of appropriate contractual measures. The ECODIAG project consists in integrating these three tools into an educational pack transferred on the territory of the IFAPA of Chipiona ( Andalusia) and the department of Constanta ( Rumania). This transfer will be made with the trainers and the agri-environmental organizers of the receiving territories, through trainings of trainers and practical applications on exploitations.Tools will be experimented, adapted, then broadcasted under the shape of an educational pack within networks and systems of vocational training of both countries. The purpose of the project being to qualify on these territories a group of "expert" trainers referents on the implementation of these tools. They will insure in their turn the reduction within the networks of the agricultural education, Natura on 2000, natural reserves and consular bodies. An European colloquium will enclose the project in 2012 and will widen its bradcasting
