Title of the project: " Eco Rural Volunteering " Type of the activity: KA 1 - Youth Exchange Programme Countries Venue: Lipanesti, Prahova, Romania Planned dates of effective implementation: 10 - 20 July 2015 Working methods used: Non-formal education Countries involved: Romania, Italy, Spain, Poland, Lithuania and Portugal. Role of each project partner in this activity: Asociatia SE POATE is the organizing association. In this KA 1 - Mobility - Youth Exchange called " Eco Rural Volunteering ", youngsters between 18 and 28 years old, accompanied by leaders with no age limit, from different EU countries will live together for 11 days in Lipanesti Village (Prahova County) in Romania. This group of youngsters will work in mixed teams, both international and of same nationality, according to the type of activities, and will make a (local, regional, national and European) mini-campaign of awareness about the need to establish guidelines that promote rural and sustainable development as a strategy of inclusion and teamwork. The topics that will be developed mainly are rural development and environmental protection. Both topics involve a direct action on our reality and that rural and sustainable development is an indispensable tool to inherit a world in good condition and that sport is a nonformal alternative of education for working against all kind of social conflicts and promoting the healthy use of spare time. As a product of work in different activities an educational package will be created, made by us, made by young people for young people. This package will help address one of the contemporary global challenges: the need for rural and sustainable development guidelines to ensure the future of the world & ecology. Moreover, during the exchange, games and workshops will be developed in order to promote understanding and dialogue between cultures.
