Vintul de Est (Jean-Thomas)Vintul de Est is the Moldovan branch of the French Association Vent d'Est, french association of non-profit solidarity (association loi 1901). Founded in 2002, it focuses its activities in the Republic of Moldova and aims to support the poor.Since 2006, Vent d'Est has targeted its actions Horodiste, village of 850 inhabitants located in the northeast of Moldova. Like most Moldovan villages, Horodiste is disadvantaged and people suffering from extreme poverty and migration related to lack of work. General objectives of the project:- Encourage sustainable development- Develop a sense of international solidarity in helping disadvantaged families- Sensitize the rural population to the current ecological problems and respect of nature- Awakening of civic responsibility, and especially the young population- Sensitize the rural population towards the respect for nature- Finding solutions to trash management problems- Install tanks in families to teach them to use natural waste and produce biogas- Develop eco tourism planning- Provide jobs for local people- Provide opportunities for young people to acquire a professional and human experience in international solidarity.- Develop the local economy in the context of the development of our projects and who need help to move forward. Jean-Thomas, the identified volunteer will gain a unique personal and professional experience, to join our team. He will mainly develop rural projects in the spirit of sustainable and inclusive development in Moldova. He will be actively involved in our activities and will learn skills, develop skills, learn how to integrate and live in a society , open to new cultures. The project contributes to the process of educating young people internationally, developing a sense of European citizenship and remains focused on the problems of the European Union. The volunteer will be supported and guided by the Administrative Manager, the tutor and the project manager and mentor. Weekly meetings will be held to evaluate and analyze the flow of objectives achieved. This project will contribute to the promotion of volunteerism, the non- formal education, youth inclusion in cooperation. The project will also improve the communication on the activities, projects and objectives of partner organizations and help develop volunteering . With the help of our EVS volunteer, we can inform more people on projects, activities, events and conduct actions Vintul de Est via Moldovan television channels , radio stations and at organized events. We will use social networks that have a major impact on communication and carry out various documentations.I-DARE (Clélia)I-Dare for Sustainable Development is a non-for-profit & non-governmental Jordanian organisation. As a social venture, the core of I-Dare actions is based on social marketing from early stages of idea development to successful achievement of desired impact.I-Dare believes in youth as the driving force towards development in its comprehensive sustainable concept where social, economic and political dimensions are equally respected. I-Dare exists to be the platform for the voice and efforts of young active citizens in transforming their societies to achieve remarkable success in all their endeavours.Since the global objective of this programme is to support the participation/ contribution of youth organisations and youth from the Euro-Med region towards the development of civil society and democracy, youth are the core of our proposed action. This project stimulates and encourages mutual understanding between youth within the Euro-Med region and to fight against stereotypes and prejudices; and to promote active citizenship among youth and enhance their sense of solidarity. The project enables volunteers to express their solidarity, to acquire intercultural experience and to develop new skills. It brings benefit to local communities and to the host organisation , through mutual exchange and the international added-value.It is a co-working space located in Amman –provided for free- for youth within EuroMed region (with focus on Jordanian youth) the aim is to have group of youth -10 per each intake, duration 4-6 months- where they can further develop their ideas and work on their initiatives. All of that is supported with a capacity building programme for youth where they will set for a needs assessment after the first month of their enrollment within the “Daring youth hub”. The capacity building programme will be based on around 15 identified topics that can enhance the skills, knowledge and attitude of the Daring Youth.Clélia will be involved also in tasks related to Advocacy component in "countering violent extremisms" project and his tasks involves communication and outreach for the project and the campaign.
