The project EU and me wants to support the youth form Targu Jiu, specially for the one who are roma people. The needs of youth from Targu Jiu are: - they are social excluded from their school and from future jobs - the educational support of the youth from Targu Jiu schools are segregated - youth are excluded from the hire interview - low level of preparation for interviw – CV and Motivation Letter - low level of nonformal education - absenteeism and school abandon among the youth - youth with few opportunities are excluded The objectives of the project are: O1 The increase of the educational level and integration of 38 youth in the society ages between 18 and 25, in a period of 10 days of activities O2 Develop of the key competences – digital, language, cultural, social and entrepreneurial skills for 38 youth during 10 days of activities, helping them to find easily a job O3 Combating prejudice of the 38 youth participants regarding youth with few opportunities O4 Develop the partnership between the 5 promoters. This project is a start regarding the cooperation between the 5 promoters for develop new project and in the future to cooperate for a SEV project. The expected results of the project are: - 38 youth will gain key skills. The skills will be specified in Youth Pass - in the project will be involved 12 youth with opportunities, and 4 of them will be of roma ethnicity - over 150 youth will participated to the meetings made by the promoters - over 200 youth from Gorj county will find about the objectives, results of the project EU and me and about the opportunities witch they have with Erasmus+ program - the promoters of the project will develop a strategy for applying at 1’st of October for EVS Stage in Targu Jiu The project will be implemented at Selimber, Sibiu county, between 2.10.2014-11.10.2014, with the participation of 38 young people from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Romania.
