E-Laboratory Practical Teaching for Applied Engineering Sciences (EPRAS)

The project implements a set of practical laboratory experiments designed for students in applied engineering sciences, accessible from remote locations by using the internet. To this end, a software platform and 6 practical laboratory works are being designed, 3 at University of Oradea and 3 at University of Debrecen. The project allows to jointly use the facilities of the two universities, which reduces the investments effort of both universities. The project provides the following advantages: extends the access intervals to laboratories, diversifies the laboratory experiments without major infrastructure costs, connects to the education disadvantaged people and persons with disabilities together with regular student groups, improves the quality of life of all users. The project results will be available free of charge for all people in the whole region. The direct beneficiaries of the project results are over 600 students in 6 disciplines from both universities.The indirect beneficiaries are other students, from both universities and from other universities, high-school students, institutions providing educational services, the employers.Target area: North Great Plain Region, North Western Region, Debrecen, Oradea.
