We are living at the beginning of a new Era of “Knowledge Society” in which tremendous changes are undergoing in education. Ways of acquiring new knowledge have been strongly influenced by the ICT by which we are surrounded every day in almost every aspect of our life. The rapid grow of mobile devices has dramatically changed the way we communicate and we get the information and without no doubt has become an important driver of innovation in learning. Mobile computing is one of the fastest growing areas within the technology industry worldwide, which make possible to envisage an audience for mobile learning content which is media rich, collaborative and always available to the user. Nowadays learning can be characterized by a preference for receiving information quickly, coupled with the ability to process it rapidly, a heavy reliance on ICTs for information access and communication, and a preference for active involvement in learning over passive learning in lectures. Moreover, the traditional educational systems of VET should go in the direction of training closely related to the job. Therefore, new methodological approaches are needed in order to make the best use of the potential of the mobile devices. The main objective of the project is to transfer the innovative mobile Performance Support System methodology to the area of e-business in Poland, Bulgaria and Spain and on its foundations develop the E-business Mobile Training Methodology (EMTM). The mPSS was designed, developed, evaluated and implemented within the frames of Leonardo DOI project that ended in 2010. mPSS presents m-learning as a form of performance support system for educational and training purposes and can be easily adopted to the needs of future and present managers of e-business. This will enlarge the efficiency of trainings in long-term results through providing trainees with a job aid in the context of their work. The partnership of the project consists of 4 organizations representing 3 countries (Bulgaria, Spain, Poland). All partners have experience in projects’ implementation in the field of innovative learning and adult education. Conducting this project partners will be sharing their knowledge and validate the methodology in each country.General outcomes of the project will include transfer of innovative mPSSS methodology, Trainer's Manual, pilot training program for 68 trainees and set of training materials, as well as multimedia content. The impact of the project will be to make E-business trainings more effective in long term perspective by providing learners with a job aid in the context of their work.
