'A trainee today, a professional tomorrow' this is the topic of the project which is aimed at 48 students who train in the profession as a building and construction technician, a geodesist and a renovator of architecture's elements. Activities of the project include internships in Irish construction and building companies. Students will take part in the extra linguistic, cultural and pedagogical training, before they leave Poland. The main aim of the project is to improve the professional competence of participants by acquiring additional practical skills of bricklaying technology, plastering, land - measuring as well as enforcement and renovation details of architecture. According to the main idea of the Erasmus programme 'Lifelong Learning Programme' and to the main project's aims, we want to instill the desire for personal development and willingness to take on new challenges throughout the professional career into our young students. The project assumes that besides the acquisition of additional professional skills, participants will improve their practical language skills, increase their motivation for learning foreign languages, self-assessment and active citizenship. We hope that the students will have a wide experience by taking part in the project's internhips. Due to this fact they will be open to new trends and technologies, eager to continue their education at a higher level of education, which will reduce the proportion of people leaving learning early. Certificates like Europass-CV, mibility and Language Passport will confirm the additional professional and language skills which the students will acquire. The certificates will provide a simple and clear way to present a profile and skills of the participants. Undoubtedly, these documents enhance the competitiveness of the participant not only locally but also in the European labour market. The participants of the project will be accommodated with host families and take part in a socializing event and two sightseeing tours in their free time. We hope that these activities will help to establish a permanent international relationships, increase a tolerance to different cultures, customs, languages, and to raise awareness of being a member of the European Communities. Our urge is that participants of the project will use the acquired skills in their future professional careers. We also hope that they will be active in the labour market, create new jobs and taking into account lessons learned will be aware of the occurrence of synergy between science and the economy. The project will contribute to a development of the school. Exchanging experiences, establishing permanent international relationships, acquisition of the another skills in the implementation of EU projects will increase a school creativity of a modernization process of vocational education. The possibility of accomplishment international internships, to exchange experiences increases the attractiveness of the educational offer of our school significantly. It will indicate the premium quality and a steady development of the institution. By dint of its activeness, it carries out the most important assumptions of European development strategies. During the implementation of the project, learning results of it will be recorded and then distributed among students of younger classes, teachers, parents and the local community. It will be done in order to raise awareness of European funds, encourage to participate in various forms of in-service training, all kinds of mobilities, which mainly contribute to increase active citizenship. Maintaining a high quality of education and intersectoral cooperation are the keys to overcoming the economic crisis and improving the economic situation of the country, and we want to make a contribution to it. We want to be its co-creators.
