Personnally, this training course in England will give me the opportunity to speak the language everyday, in real conditions and will help me: - to bring up my English level - to have a better understanding of British culture - to illustrate my lessons with authentic documents - to work on concrete and vivid and experimented material (photos, videos,videoconferences creation and creation of quizzes to be sent to foreign children) - enhance my teaching skills ( through classes observations, talks with other teachers) Sharing the everyday life with other Europeans will give me open-mindedness and a personal enrichment. Thanks to this complete course on pedagogical, linguistic and human level, I'll be in position to bring a European opening richer and more real to my pupils, colleagues and to my school. Professionally, the new dynamic linked to the videoconferences, the links created between diffferent schools en european students, the making of a European passport, the organisation of "A day for Europe" will contribute to enhance the different axis and parts of our school project, especially 'Including pupils with a handicap". Actually, working on the diversity of languages, cultures and widening their horizon will help the children to accept more easily others with their differences and common points, with or without a handicap. Back to school, I'll share all the authentic documents to be pooled, all new teaching practices, English competences broadened, a stronger motivation to give a new impulse to the school through our project "Being in a Europen citizen school in which we are already involved. After they've made a list of all the needs concerning English teaching, the teachers' team will be better equiped (different documents pooled, a updated progression in the 2 cycles with new common materials) in order to review their knowledge regularly all along the 5 years of primary school. I hope to be an added driving force to Make want other teachers to involve themselves in other teaching missions and go on this project on being open to European citizenship.
