Dynamic SalesMan - Modular Training Programme European Dynamic Salesman

The Dynamic SalesMan project will develop, test and prepare to implement an Intranet-based interactive learning programme in marketing and sales management for SME's managers and young business graduates. Unlike existing courses in this field, this 72-hour programme will cover three levels of management, namely, strategic, tactical and operational management, as required within SME's. The training programme will be accompanied by a trainers' manual and student self-assessment survey as an aid to self-learning management. Project outcomes will include the Intranet application, an accredited trainers' resource manual, three user resource books, DVD/CD-Rom presentations, personal self-assessment surveys and the project website. A demonstration version of the training application will be made available on the project website and will be piloted with students and a test group of SME's and further evaluated by regional SME associations. Remaining products will be paper-based with all elements being produced in five languages (EN, DE, PL, CZ & SK). Partners intend to implement the programme in their respective regions, to include links with a re-qualification programme for young graduates in the Czech Republic. Ongoing publicity aimed at SME's and business students and graduates will be increased towards the end of the project in order to reach training bodies and their business partners, chambers of commerce and innovation centres as well as regional development and employment agencies. This promotion will rely on the multi-lingual website, project leaflets, distribution of the end product and presentations at relevant seminars, trade fairs and conferences. In the longer-term, project results could potentially be transferred to other regions and/or target groups.
