"WE ARE BREAKING OUR WALLS!" covers all the students, teachers, parents of the children and local people who live in Ilıdağ Village. There are only 6 teachers , a director and a assistant director in our school. The staff who will participate the course in abroad have been chosen according to the staff's willingness, their wish and their perseverance. These teachers have taken part in some national and international projects before. Their communication skills with pupils and their parents are perfect enough to interact with them for future activities. So we have chosen 5 people to participate in in-service training course in Slovenia. Other teacher are going to take part in other project activities. The school staff have observed that the creative thinking skills in students is too low. There have done a lot of research about the reason of low creative thinking skills in students, they have applied some test on students. Also some articles about the creative thinking have read by the staff. To increase the number of creative thinkers, some activities already have done . However the teachers cannot solve the problem by themselves by using only verbal information they got from the web. They need to participate in a course or seminar about the issue and need to learn the issue actively. All the staff strongly want to have the acquisition of comprehension, implementation, analysis, synthesis, evaluation. Owing to knowing and implementing comprehension, implementation, analysis, synthesis, evaluation steps in education, we gain success in education. After participating the course, all the staff can inform other colleagues about the new ideas, new activities about the creative thinking and they can apply the activities they have learned in o their daily lesson plan. Only this way students can imagine and produce different solutions to problems that they are facing, can access a clear decision by using their emotion and logic. There are students in our school who have not seen the city centre, Aegean sea before, or some of them have not even gone out of the village yet. With this project we are planning to organise a theatre show, poetry recital by using creative drama skills and creative thinking in town and in Aydın. Owing to that our students have a chance to go out of town see somewhere different from their village, they will actively participate in creative thinking activities willingly. Our institution will gain experience and competence in a European project. We will be a kind of European School. We will change our mind and our horizon about Europe.
