The Project, which aims to provide social and democratic participation of young people, will be implemented during 11 months with 26 participants in Hakkari City Centre and in Taastrup, Denmark. Within the project, young people will have personal knowledge qualification, young people from different backgrounds will come together, and young people will be trained about democracy and organization culture. Democratic and cultural communication, understanding and participation in local, national and international level will be fostered within the young participants. The project also aims to develop new cooperation and youth policies in local level. Within the project, training programs (Training of trainers, widespread trainings), meeting programs (3 panels, 2 colloquies, meetings with NGO representatives, village headmen and school associations, participation to the Hakkari and Hoje Taastrup Municipality Council meetings), visits (between Hakkari-Turkey and Denmark-Taastrup), promotional activities (Democracy and Youth brochure, Monhtly Newsletters, T-Shirt to be used during the activities, pencils and binders to be given to the participants, a web site in English, Turkish and Danish, booklets and CDs to be distributed to local, national and international institutions at the end of the seminar) will be organized. We will use educational and entertaining working ways during the project.
