Dreamups Sustainability Lab
Start date: May 1, 2013,

Dreamups Sustainability Lab (SLab) is an interactive training course on the topic of Sustainable Innovation. It has the goal of increasing the participation of young people in sustainable development of Europe (as well as the World) through the development and realization of their creativity and innovation potential. SLab consists of 4 days of trainings and workshops on social and environmental issues in the World and Europe, sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship and open society; 4 days of brainstorming, constructing sustainable Do-It-Yourself ideas and testing them; 1 day for documentation and video production and 1 day for evaluation and next steps. The solutions built by the participants will be filmed and included in the Dreamups on-line library at www.dreamups.org, as well as described in the SLab e-book released after the evaluation day (with all the authors rights respected). The course is based on the principles of informal experiential learning and game-style participatory approach to “discovering and building” a sustainable Europe. SLab will have a strong intercultural and European dimension: it will involve 32 young participants from Austria, Denmark, Moldova and Ukraine. They will enjoy 10 days of interactive trainings and learning-by-doing experience of building their own sustainable solutions among the nature at the beautiful resort town in Moldova - Vadul-lui-Voda. Dreamups Sustainability Lab will be the first event of this kind organized in Moldova. You can read more about the concept and organization process of Dreamups Sustainability Lab at the following link:https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B51QHXC47xNuX3VzQlp1cXp5R0E/edit
