To promote tourism and enhance the environmental value of the Scheldt valley, the project partners point out the «green and blue» network that characterises it to the population. In other words, the project partnersprovide the Scheldt river and the inhabitants of the region with a proper identity. To that end, a study is conducted in the border area to develop an integrated vision on the «green and blue» network of the Scheldt valley.
