Working in accordance with health, safety and fire rules will be one of the basic principles. As far as the students of the Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization are concerned, their internship will take place from 3rd September till 17th September 2016 and will include 12 students and one teacher. The project participants will perform all the activities connected with servicing motor vehicles, in particular fault location and repair in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, full diagnostics of a breaking system, disassembly and assembly of particular components and assemblies, computer diagnostics, performing ongoing conservation activities. All the activities will be performed under the supervision of a teacher trainer in accordance with health, safety and fire rules. Prior to departure the students will take part not only in language training but also in professional, cultural and pedagogical ones. The project participants are young people mainly coming from rural areas and small towns. They are characterized by a low level of self-esteem, lack of plans for the future and, very often, life helplessness. To change it, the school once again applies for the grant of a foreign internship for students. It will contribute to giving the young people a helping hand, indicating which path to follow in order to be active users of the employment market in the future. Vitalis, the school partner, has been chosen deliberately. This is an organization with many years of experience in working with young people across Europe. Germans are well-known for their reliability and accuracy in work. For our students it will, therefore, be an excellent preparation for a professional career. A rich cultural program prepared by our partner will be a great opportunity for the trainees to learn about the culture, traditions and religion of our neighbors. They will also get a chance to improve their knowledge of the German language with regard to both colloquial and professional vocabulary. Vitalis is an intermediary institution. The internship will take place in professional catering companies and motor vehicle servicing spots. The main objective of the project is to enhance mobility of agricultural education graduates entering the employment market as well as improving their social activity. It will be achieved through the implementation of specific objectives such as: improving the knowledge of German, raising the level of know-how in the professions mentioned above, increasing the participants` self-esteem through faith in their own abilities and belief that work is an essential factor to be successful in life. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of professional education. Practical training with foreign companies is a valuable experience especially for young people who are just entering the job market. A long-term benefit is to prevent early school leaving and, consequently, improve professional qualifications of agricultural school graduates. Having analyzed the results of the previously implemented projects, we believe that the participants will improve their social and employment situation. It will also be beneficial for the whole society and our country`s development.
