Implementation of the project "Improvement of teaching skills and personal development of teachers key to the pupils’ success" intends to improve the quality of teaching in a primary school in Horyniec -Zdroj. Due to the acquired knowledge and observation of good practices the teachers of our school will have the opportunity to introduce innovative forms and methods of teaching in home school. Courses and workshops will help to increase the qualifications of teachers involved in the project in various fields related to the teaching methods applied at the lessons and during educational work with special educational needs children, the participant teachers will also learn how to promote cooperation with parents. Language courses will serve to the development of communication skills in English and obtaining ESL certificates. Our main objectives are: improving language skills of students and trainees; promotion of multilingualism and concept of long life learning; implementation of the teachers’ experience from other countries in our school in order to create optimum working conditions for SEN children; gaining the knowledge about different education systems in Europe; improving the school management due to the observation; exchange of experiences and good practices with managing staff from other European schools; using the innovative methods and techniques of communication; introducing innovative ICT tools into learning and teaching process; learning effective teaching methods at the work with the youngest learners of English; modification of the ways of children handling and improving the quality of early language learning; broadening of horizons and outlooks about other nations and countries; gaining knowledge about the history, culture, art, politics of other European countries. The courses will be attended by 20 participants and 3 persons of staff personnel will be involved into job shadowing. Mobility Tool will be used for registration the mobility, ongoing evaluation of project activities, thus obtained courses certificates and Europass passports will increase the value of the professional profile of each participant.We have planned the following courses: school managers will take part in the course Structured Study Visit to Schools Institutes and Training Seminar where they will acquire knowledge about the European dimension in the school management. The school psychologist, oligofrenopedagogist and kindergarten teacher will learn new ways and methods of working with SEN children during the course Special Educational Needs. a group of English teachers will increase the knowledge on the methodology of teaching using the method of Task Based Learning and will observe practical matters during job shadowing in a partner school in Netherlands. As regards to the development of linguistic skills the group of teachers will attend the preparatory language course in native school , firstly, and later they will develop acquired knowledge in order to participate in the professional language course English for teachers and obtain the ESL certificate. These activities will also facilitate the participation in Structured Course for Teachers of All Subjects. Documentation and dissemination of the activity results will occur by the means of the latest ICT technologies and will be carried out by two teachers who will the course titled ICT Skills Empowerment Making Use of Technology Tools. Preschool education teachers will improve their job skills during the course New Trends and Alternative Approaches to Kindergarten Teaching. The course participants will increase their personal and individual knowledge only for themselves, moreover for schools, students, teachers and other schools and institutions. We hope that the project will bring significant benefits to our organization, will increase the professionalism of teachers as well as brings new working methods into the classroom, will improve the language skills of students and teachers. Whatsmore It will also enrich the educational offer of our school, raise the prestige of the school and promote the exchange of experiences and good pactices with teachers from other schools, increase motivation to learn foreign languages among students and teachers.
