It is planned that 20 staff who works at Bahçelievler Guidance and Research Center to attend 3 different course programs which consist of 2 mobility flows. Mobility Flow 1: This involves the mobility to Germany. As Guidance and Research Center, we supply education and consultation to psychological counselors and teachers, counsel to individuals with special needs. To improve the quality of these services we need education in our working issues. The course named “Psychological Interventions at Schools in Germany” which lasts 5 days will be given by WBS Schulen. The institution is in Halle, and 8 staff including 4 key staff will attend to mobility. Mobility Flow 2: This involves the mobility to Portugal. Dominou is an institution which is founded in Romania and gives education in different issues in various European countries. As a part of mobility, there will be 2 different courses those will be given at the unit of the institution in Portugal. 8 staff those include 2 key staff will attend the course named “Spice Up Formal Education” and 8 staff including 2 key staff will attend the course named “Harmony And Learning”. These are the issues which are main necessities for the teachers of our district. In our institution, 1 Headmaster, 16 Psychological Counselors, 3 Special Education Teachers are planned to participate in the project. The headmaster works with risky groups, individuals who need psychological support and gifted/talented individuals and also competent in the coordination of projects. Both Psychological Counselors and Special Education Teachers work with risky groups in pre, primary, secondary and high schools. They are experienced in giving education and consultation to teachers; guidance and psychological counseling to students and also their parents. Our project will be applied as mobility of learners and staff under the action of mobility of individuals. Firstly, preliminary studies; after that main activities and lastly prevalence studies will be taken place. The methodology applied during the implementation of the project is coordinated with the help of the key stuff. The process of methodology will be conducted as it is mentioned in the part of G. Preparation of the Project, H. Main Activities, I. Follow up Studies of the Project. Our Institution gives importance to progress, to communicate with national and international institutions, to follow their practices and adaptation of them and the usage of scientific techniques while making intervention to target population. There are special purposes under the Erasmus+ programs like increasing the quality of education via international collaboration between who works in the area of education and stakeholders and also supporting the modernization of educational systems through lifelong learning. In conclusion, both the needs of our institution and the purposes of Erasmus+ program overlap. Thanks to the courses; the participants will have knowledge about the education systems in Germany and Portugal, psychological interventions in education system, education context of psychological counselors and school psychologists, special education, interventions for difficult children and drop outs, culture and interculturality, communication, group dynamics, education methods (formal, non-formal, informal), conflict management, mediation, group dynamics in team work; good practice examples. In addition to those main activities, prevalence studies in our district, city and also country will be taken place such as seminars to school presidents, counselors, special education teachers and preparing brochures/online documents for schools and parents and so on. Therefore, more people will have a chance to respond the educational and psychological needs of the people in a more qualified and European manner. The courses that will be attended in Germany and Portugal provide to share the knowledge and experience with European countries reciprocally and support the unity and cooperation with colleagues. After the project, it is anticipated to contribute occupational competence of special education teachers, psychological counselors working in the Guidance and Research Centers and teachers in our country and serving more qualified services for students and parents. In addition, it is predicted to increase national and international occupational reputation of our institution. By the courses, it is aimed to develop awareness about values of European Countries and traditions and European Countries-Turkey relationship with mutual sharing of our cultural values, educational approaches, and natural-historical prettiness. In addition, it will be improved European citizenship sensitivity of the staff. In the job areas which focus on “human being”, it is essential to continue development after graduation and to follow national-international practices. Thanks to the project staff has chance to observe international studies on hometown and lifelong learning will be supported.
