Six students experienced a 5 - week long internship in Germany, 8 students in Hungary, 3 students in France and 4 students in Estonia thanks to the project "Good practice leads to good job". They were the students who were full time enrolled in specializations: hotel academy, cook, waiter/waitress and vocational specializations: confectioner - baker, confectioner-cook. The objectives of the project corresponded with the needs of institutions in the context of the European Development Plan (to increase of the amount of employed graduates and to improve gradually the educational process with “European dimension”). The trainees gained (in Europass declared) such knowledge, skills and competence in their field of study which they were unable to get at home. Their personality grew as well (increase of self-confidence, flexibility, adaptability in a foreign environment etc.). This increased their chances of employment not only at home but also in EU countries. The graduates will spread the good name of the institution in Slovakia and the European Union. This will increase the interest of future students for study at school and increase the interest of new partners for cooperation in projects Erasmus +. Thanks to the project the quality of education in Hotel academy has been improved. We achieved this by integrating the outputs from the students’ mobilities and their experiences into the educational process.
