The project „Good apprenticeship-better work” embrances: culture programme, German and Spanish language course, accomplishment of the apprenticeship in Germany and Spain-twelve week training. 80 participants are going to take part in the project, they are the students of vocational and technical school as well as graduates of Zespol Szkol Ponadgimnazjalnych no 4. During the interview studets representing different professions are going to be chosen. The project will contribute to vocational and personal development of ZSP4 students. It will make them more active and will broaden their knowledge and the skills. During the foreign practice in Germany and Spain students will have a chance to combine theory with practice. The students will take part in the training of vocational and social competences and they will enhance their vocational qualifications. Furthermore, they will be trained in the field of jobs searching in EU countries. The students of ZSP4 will get a unique chance to adjust their vocational and language skills to the needs EU labour market. The studets’ language skills will considerably increase after the intense language course in Poland, Spain and Germany as well as through everyday contact with the foreign language in the place of the training. The beneficiaries’ chances of being employed will increse after getting to know the requirements of European labour market. Cultural trips and knowledge of the history and geography of particular regions will broaden cultural competences of the participants. Meeting peers from other countries will enable ZSP4 students to become acquinted with foreign culture and get to know their peers’ interests and customs. Thanks to participation in festivals, discos, and cultural trips ZSP4 students will have a chance to get to know German and Spanish teenagers closer. ZSP4 students will have a higher motivation and will acitively participate in vocational classes, the result of it will be better marks. They will also broaden the range of their vocational skills and their knowledge will increase. It wll help to strengthen the tights between the world of theory and practice. The students will gain practical skills which they will make use of in the future jobs as well we during the apprenticeship or vocational classes in Poland. Their chances of being employed will increase. ZSP4 students will adjust their vocational and language skills to European labour market, they will enrich their social and vocational experience and they will invest in their personal development. The project will consists of the following components: 1. The enrollment of the project participants: September 2014, February 2015, September 2015, February 2016. The enrollment will be open for every student. There will be a special application form to fill out. It will include a personal data of the beneficiary, a written approval of the participant’s legal protector, and an agrement to process personal data. The enrollment will be conducted according to politics of equal rights with the special attention to students from poor and broken home families or orphans. Such choice is the outcome of the fact that entering the labour market in case of some of students is much more difficult. 2. Meeting with students’ parents or legal protectors, the project coordinators and the project foreign representatives in September 2014, February 2015, September 2015, February 2016. During the meeting they will be informed about the training programme, extra classes, insurance requirements and about the everyday work. 3. Educational, cultural and linguistic preparation : October – December 2014, March - May 2015, October - December 2015, March - May 2016. ZSP4 will conduct preliminary evaluation of Spanish and German language competences. Every time about 20 students will take part in the project, language classes will be held in the groups of 10 students. Spanish classes as well as culture preparation classes will take place from October to December 2014 and October- December 2015. German classes as well as culture preparation classes will take place from March to May 2015 and March-May 2016. 4. Foreign apprenticeship- January 2015, June 2015, January 2016, June 2016. In January 2015 and 2016 students will go on three week practice to Spain (20 persons in 2015 and 20 persons in 2016). In June 2015 and 2016 students will go on three week practice to Germany (20 persons in 2015 and 20 persons in 2016). Due to the fact that Zamosc region belongs to the poorest ones not only in Poland but also in EU, most of ZSP4 students have not had a chance to go abroad so far and may not have in the future at all. Thanks to foreign training, mobility of our students will significantly increase. Through everyday contact with a foreign language, students will have a chance to verify and increase the level of their linguistic skills. In Zamosc region there are few companies which may enable students to undergo training.
