The project "Experiencing London – Student Internships Abroad", hereinafter "LZP", aims to enhance the existing school curriculum of CZECH SALES ACADEMY Trutnov - secondary vocational school Ltd., to give opportunity for students who attend higher classes on a full-time basis to take part in a professional internship abroad, to support students in using and deepening their knowledge and skills acquired during the previous education, to improve their language and professional skills and broaden their awareness of opportunities for study and employment in the European Union. The project counts on the involvement of students (in total 20) in full-time education (mostly students of the 3rd and 4th year) in the field of study Economics and Business, who will show a serious interest in a foreign internship and demonstrate sufficient language knowledge and relevant expertise. 14-day foreign internships in the areas of administration and retail will be provided by a partner organization ADC College from Great Britain, which our school worked successfully with on the projects of Leonardo da Vinci Mobility. The internships will take place in London companies and organizations during two terms (autumn 2014 and spring 2015), for each term one alternate member will be determined. The division of roles between two partners in the project will be defined by the "Internship Agreement within the program Erasmus +". Communication between the partners will be realized by phone and e-mail, as well as by using videoconferences. The main project activities (project preparation, the launching of project activities, preparation and execution of foreign internships, processing final reports of participants, validation, evaluation, dissemination and accounting of funds) are divided into 3 stages. The project implementation will support the efforts of CZECH SALES ACADEMY Trutnov - secondary vocational school Ltd., to prepare best the students of full-time education for their future employment in accordance with the current requirements of the labour market. It will help the participants to better their professional skills, improve their ability to solve problems and challenges, professional communication, deepen and strengthen their language skills. The students will also be able to compare cultural, living and working conditions in Czech and British firms. Gained Europass Mobility Certificate and ADC College Certificate will contribute to their better entry to the labour market. Thanks to the project implementation CZECH SALES ACADEMY Trutnov - secondary vocational Ltd., will continue in improving the quality of the vocational training.
