Begin with the end in mind: Define the projects goals and mission. 3. Put First Things First:- Prioritise and do the most important things first. 4.: Think Win-Win: have an everyone can win attitude. 5: Seek first to understand, then to be understood - listen to people sincerely. 6: Synergise - work together to achieve more. 7: Sharpen the Saw: Also utilising the seven steps in 'to make a plan become a reality'. Evaluate on an ongoing basis to keep people renewed and involved. The young people involved have been working together for the past number of years on various KDYS Music progammes such as Mini Region Variety Shows, Youth Factor events at County and National level. Carol singing in their local community for the elderly and music evenings as a way of celebrating volunteers in their community. Young people are from a rural area with few amenities such as swimming pool or cinema. They engage in large numbers in local KDYS Youth Clubs. The young people have self selected to be involved in the music programme.A variety of methodologies will be engaged in the programme: such as shared co-facilitation of workshops, open space technology, world cafe, group work, lived experiences and presentations.
