The sending organisation is the 1st High School of Trikala, which is a public Secondary School located in the capital of the prefecture of Trikala, in Trikala. The project theme is "Teaching Creativity in Schools" and will be held in the city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The duration is five (5) days of classes and two (2) days of journey. The host institution is Skupina Primera, which is an educational organisation with extensive experience in both private and public sector and has been active in in European partnerships within the Erasmus+ program in recent years. The group of school teachers who wish to attend the course consist of five (5) individuals of various subjects. Participants will become skilled in a variety of interesting Edward de Bono’s thinking tools, namely PMI (plus, minus, interesting), CAF (consider all factors), C&S (consequences & sequel), AGO (aims, goals, objectives), FIP (first important priorities), Six Thinking Hats etc. They will discuss how to lead thinking sessions, challenges and obstacles will be addressed. Furthermore, participants will raise awareness in principles of parallel and perceptual thinking. The main objective of the course is to prepare participants to professionally lead creative and constructive thinking sessions in their schools or organisations. By the end of the course participants will have a substantial understanding of creative and constructive thinking framework and models (following dr. Edward de Bono’s methodology). The impact of the project is important to both teachers and students. The ultimate goal is the increase of the interest, the enhancing of creative performance, productivity, teamwork spirit and cooperation of the participants, as well as the encouragement of the active participation of students so as to understand concepts and problems.
