We have to take advantage of Information and Communication Technologies to educate students better and make them take potential employment opportunities in the world of technology which is developing as swift as thought. However, our most important problems identified in our organization which is located in a disadvantaged area are that our teachers are not be able to use existing technology to produce effective teaching materials, not be able to use ICT effectively during their courses and not be able to catch up with the novelties in e-learning. So our project “EMBRACING THE WORLD WITH DIGITAL NOVELTIES” will be a milestone for our organization. In this sense, our project aims these elements: the potential of ICT will be applied effectively to education process in order to develop education system in general terms, we will educate our teachers thanks to international information sharing with the aim of catching up with the novelties in modern digital world, and help our teachers to educate themselves in terms of personal development. Moreover, with this project we aim to encourage our teachers to be innovator and reformer in the field of ICT using, to increase the number of teachers who can use ICT effectively in the classes, to inspire them to use ICT and prepare digital materials during education period, to make all of the teachers come to a level that they can produce different ICT materials and create an active learning atmosphere in the classroom which will offer real life situations to the students. In order to achieve these targets, various assessment studies will be carried on in the institution such as giving questionnaires to students and teachers or preparing situation analysis reports during different periods of our project. Within the context of Dissemination and Valorisation of the project; a booklet will be prepared in the field of using ICT in the classroom, a small e-library will be created with the materials developed by teachers attending the courses and this CD will be distributed to the other schools in our city. Also, teachers will publish their materials free of charge in the international web sites and download them to EBA which is our national educational material system for teachers. So, we intend to provide sustainability in education as professional pioneers. The project will continue twelve months and five activities will happen in different organizations. Eleven participants from our institution will attend these activities. Selected participants are cooperative, successful in team work, creative, innovative and expert in their fields and they will share their acquisitions willingly and will contribute making a difference in education. As for course providers, they are well-known organizations and expert in their fields, and they will provide international certificates and comprehensive education to participants.
