Dialogue Interculturel et Intergenerationnel entre différents acteurs plus
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The action and the communication on intercultural and intergenerational with different actors. This approach is important to demonstrate that there is a need to meet between people from different origins and generations and above all in a country as specific as Luxembourg, with almost 50 % of migrants and an increasing number of borderers every day. In a society which becomes more and more individualistic, we want to demonstrate (and we have experience and competences in this topic), to give answers to these needs, that people are searching for encounters and experiences to give and receive from their own experiences, knowledges, etc. Thanks to these frequent encounters (2 to 4 a month) with initiatives as Cuisine du Monde (in which two cultures are meeting), with one or several international workcamps with people engaged in a region, we help answering to a work need that couldn't be assumed otherwise. We work with meeting centers for Seniors, offer services and animations through the great INTERCULTURANDO project, but we are also assuming practical work (manual) together with experts. Reveal these activities to include more those who are, either more reluctant, either more isolated, either less informed, is another pillar of the project. This is how we actively collaborate for the inclusion of people at the sidelines of society, we contribute to the social cohesion of this multicultural country. This year, we want to insist on the multi-litterary approach, the communication on ecology with the workcamp. The publication of 2 or 3 books in different languages, the animations in different contexts (academic, leisure centers, associative, seniors clubs ...). The EVS will last 8 months for 1 volunteer and the project will be prepared in advance.
